Cindy Romaine

Cindy Romaine is focused on information projects, information research, needs assessment, competitive intelligence related to business needs and sustainability. Cindy’s experience includes 16 years at Nike, Inc., where she was responsible for the strategic global information resources for a world-class design community.

Cindy actively contributes to the community of library and information professionals. She currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Special Libraries Association and is focused on directing members to become Future Ready in 2011. Additionally, Cindy has served as a Director on the SLA Board of Directors (2004-2008), as the chair of the Innovation Laboratory (2008), and as chair the PR committee (2003-2005). Ms. Romaine is the recipient the Center of Excellence award from SLA, Business and Finance Division (2003).
